Something fresh and thought provoking to put in those new 2013 diaries – Oxford based choreographer Joe Lott sends word of her new work Chemistry, which will be performed at The Place in London as part of the annual Resolution! season, but which is also the subject of a photographic exhibition here in Oxford…

18th January 5.30-7.30pm. – opening Private Viewing of ‘Chemistry’, an exhibition of Dance Photography and Video at the Old Fire Station Gallery by photographers Dulcy Lott and Imran Uppal, in collaboration with Joe Lott Dance.  The photographers explore the theme of ‘Chemistry’, in both a scientific sense and an emotional sense.

RSVP to joelottdance@gmail.com to guarantee your name on the guest list.
The exhibition is open daily from 19th January for two weeks.  (Admission free)

1st February, 8pm – Joe Lott Dance present Chemistry as part of the Resolution! 2013 Dance Festival at the Robin Howard Theatre, The Place, London.

Chemical reactions and bonding are taken as metaphors for human relationships.  Volatile, unstable elements seek stability, amidst shifting, unfolding periodic patterns. Three athletic dancers experience attraction, repulsion and chemistry.
