Oxford’s Phoenix Picturehouse is staging a Screen Arts Festival between Friday 29th July and Thursday 11th August. One of the many strands to the festival features dance, with three spectacular films:

· The UK Premiere of an inspiring documentary chronicling Cambodian teenager Sokvannara Sar’s meteoric rise to stardom with the Seattle Ballet – DANCING ACROSS BORDERS – Sat 30th July, 6.45

· The UK Premiere for a brand new restoration of Tchaikovsky’s SWAN LAKE from 1966 featuring the legendary partnership of Rudolf Nureyev and Margot Fonteyn – Monday 1st August 1.30pm and 6.20pm

· A fascinating new documentary about legendary choreographer Pina Bausch -DANCING DREAMS – Thursday 4th August 6.10pm
